Dy. Manager or  Manager – QA/QMS

Objective:

We are seeking an experienced Manager – QA/ QMS to lead and oversee the Quality Assurance and Quality Management Systems within our motor manufacturing operations.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Quality Assurance Management

  • Develop and implement comprehensive QA strategies to ensure product reliability and compliance with industry standards.
  • Monitor the entire production process to identify and address quality issues.
  • Lead the quality inspection team to ensure adherence to specifications at every stage of production.

2. Quality Management Systems (QMS)

  • Manage and maintain QMS certifications (e.g., ISO 9001: ISO 14001: ISO 45001) and ensure compliance with relevant standards.
  • Serve as the organization’s Management Representative for Quality Management Systems (QMS).
  • Conduct internal audits and facilitate external audits by certification bodies.
  • Document, monitor, and report key quality metrics and drive corrective actions.

3. Continuous Improvement

  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement lean manufacturing practices.
  • Lead root cause analysis (RCA) for defects and non-conformities and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

4. Supplier and Customer Quality Management

  • Develop and implement supplier quality assurance processes to ensure incoming material meets required standards.
  • Conduct periodic supplier audits and drive supplier performance improvement programs.

Technical Expertise:

  • In-depth knowledge of QMS standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.
  • Proficiency in quality tools and techniques such as 8D, FMEA, SPC, Six Sigma, and Lean Manufacturing.
  • Hands-on experience with quality inspection equipment and software.
